Library: Flat Friends

Flat Friends' Adventures - 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grades

We are reading the story Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown. It is about an ordinary boy who gets flattened by a bulletin board hanging in his room. To his surprise, Stanley discovers that he can do many things like sliding under doors and mailing himself to faraway places. His adventures have inspired a library project. Each student has cut out and decorated a Flat Friend and sent them on adventures both near and far! 

Currently, you can check out Ms. Orseno's Flat Abe and some of his adventures over the summer in the below PowerPoint. Come back in November to see more Flat Friend adventures from the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. Also, we will post a map of where our Flat Friends have traveled!
