During the Spring 2021 semester, Archives Technician Melanie Reed will be working on-site part-time. If you have a question that requires access to physical collection materials, please contact Melanie (firstname.lastname@example.org / 717-477-1325).

All visitors must 1) wear a mask, 2) abide by social distancing guidelines provided by staff, 3) wash their hands before entering the Archives, and 4) bring either a laptop or pencil and paper to take notes.
Shippensburg University Archives and Special Collections needs your help documenting how COVID-19 has impacted the lives of our community members!
We've created a site where SU students, faculty, staff, administrators, alums, family and friends can upload photos, stories, and videos. Visit https://shippensburgcovid19.omeka.net/ to participate.
We are looking for materials that document your day-to-day experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. This will help us preserve and share what life was like in our community during this unique time. If we don't capture it now; it'll be a lot harder in the future! You can submit Word documents, PDFs, digital photos, video files, or audio files. Example submissions are listed on the 'What to Contribute' page of our COVID-19 site.
Participate in the LGBTQ+ History Project
The Shippensburg University Archives, Pride Center, and Dr. Steve Burg of the History & Philosophy Department are collaborating to collect stories and memorabilia, which will become part of the archives' permanent collection. These additions will help our university better understand, and tell the story of, our campus LGBTQ+ community. We are looking for: personal stories, photos, scrapbooks, letters, emails, diaries, videos, student club documents (minutes, bylaws, etc.), and more.
You may submit personal stories and digital photos, videos, or documents through our online form.
If you have questions about the project, please contact Dr. Steve Burg (email@example.com).
