National Poetry Month: Virtual Poetry Gallery

by Eyoel Delessa on 2020-04-15T09:44:52-04:00 | 0 Comments
To celebrate National Poetry Month, Ezra Lehman Library teamed up with Dr. Santalucia and the amazing students in ENG427: Advanced Poetry Writing to bring you a virtual poetry gallery. The virtual gallery was composed by Dr. Santalucia and library faculty member Eyoel Delessa.  Using an interactive form of google slides and google photos, they built the virtual gallery, seeking a balance of an interactive and accessible experience. The link below will take you the virtual gallery, each arrow in the gallery allows you to access the students' poems. Users have the ability to zoom in and out to read the entirety of the poems. Please invite your friends, families, and colleagues to come enjoy this gallery experience.

We are thrilled to spotlight work by these talented poets:  Anna D'Orazio, Angela Piper, Kim Johnson, Quincy Loss, Megan Gelsinger, and Andrea Kling. The poems featured here take personal and artistic risks that engage with the beauty of what it means to be connected to each other through language.

We hope you enjoy!
