Exhibits

This guide archives the exhibits and displays which Lehman Library has provided to the campus in recent years.

Library Exhibits Program should 

  • Support University events, programs, activities, conferences, and accomplishments
  • Increase collaboration and strengthen partnerships among the library, University, and the wider community
  • Enhance the teaching, research, learning, and service mission of the library and University
  • Promote the diverse climate, programs, and scholarly value of the library and University
  • Cultivate intellectual, aesthetic, and creative growth

The Gallery - Main Level

  • Two full walls equipped with a Walker Art hanging system and recessed lighting
  • Each wall is 27 linear feet with hanging rods
  • Hanging rods can be used to hang a variety of foam core board or picture displays
  • Each wall will accommodate approximately 6 display boards, more if smaller
  • Area will also accommodate 3-dimensional items; stands must be furnished by exhibitor
  • Ideal for a walk-thru exhibit.

Glass Display Case - Upper Level

  • 2 identical cases located on the main level and upper level
  • Adjustable or removable glass shelves
  • Lockable case 
  • Dimensions: 59 ¾ " length, 15" depth, 46" height

Vertical Display Case - Main Level, Rear Wall

  • Recessed ceiling lighting above case 
  • Adjustable or removable glass shelves 
  • Back wall designed for hanging items 
  • Suitable for 3-dimensional displays 
  • Dimensions: 59"height, 48" length, 15"depth

Lower Level Lobby

  • Wall space, and two display cases available 
  • 24 linear foot half wall space equipped with Walker Art hanging 
  • Area will accommodate 4 -5 hanging rods 
  • Two flat display cases, display area dimensions: 59 ¾" length, 26 ¾" depth, 6 ' height

Portable Easels

  • Use for posters to enhance your exhibit at any of the exhibit areas
  • Use for a foam core board stand-alone exhibit
  • Five library easels available
