Today's post is written by Melanie Reed, Archives Technician.

Have you seen the new archives exhibit on the top floor of the library?    One display case is about Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, celebrated on January 16th.  The exhibit provides a brief historical background about why we celebrate MLK Day, and archival documents highlight ways in which the college has celebrated and honored MLK.

The second display case observes Administrative Professionals’ Day (April 26) with bios and photos of two of our campus administrative professionals, Cindy Zeger and DottySue Ott.  In the same case, we acknowledge some of our college football players who were drafted by the NFL in recognition of Super Bowl Sunday on February 12.  Special emphasis is given to John Kuhn and Rob Davis, both of whom were drafted by the NFL and played in super bowl games.
