Ezra Lehman Memorial Library’s mission is to serve the Shippensburg University community by providing excellent reference and research assistance, access to high quality electronic and print collections, customized information literacy instruction, comfortable individual and collaborative study space and effective distance, interlibrary, and outreach services. Our advisory board helps us fulfill our mission by providing both guidance and financial support.
Purpose
To provide support and advice regarding issues and challenges facing academic libraries, review policies, procedures and services, as well as represent the library to various publics (volunteers, donors, general public etc.). Board members should help us generate enthusiasm for library programs and services and set examples of personal support.
Membership
Membership will consist of prominent individuals and leaders who bring leadership and dedication to the cause of advancing, improving, and supporting the Lehman Library.
Expectations
Members of the advisory board will serve a term of three years and attend 2 meetings a year to be scheduled in accordance with the academic year and availability of the advisory board members.
