Library services are a little strange again this semester due to COVID:

Library Services: Spring 2021

• Library Building Services and Access
  • Regular Library hours (starting Feb 22):
    Sun Noon-9:30pm, Mon-Thu 7:15am-9:30pm, Fri 7:15am-6pm, Sat 9am-5pm
    • As specified in campus policy, mask use and social distancing are required in the library 
      • Face masks (disposable) are available for those who need another mask - to the right of the Tech Help Desk
      • Sanitizing wipes and keyboard bags are available on each library level
• Virtual Research Help hours (starting Feb 4th):
  Sun 4:30-9:30pm, Mon-Thu 9:00am-9:30pm, Fri 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Online help available through Chat, Email, or by Appointment
  • Mask to Mask help available in library (starting Feb 22)

• Library Technology: Laptops and Workstations are distributed throughout the building
  • Laptops will not be checked out this semester, find them in distributed locations around the library
• Library Printing: Printers are available on the Main and Lower Level
  • the color copier on the Lower Level will only print, the copier function is disabled due to COVID concerns
  • a Self-checkout Station is available in the lobby - regular checkout at the desk remains available
• Physical library materials are quarantined for 3 day when they are returned

• Starbucks
  • Enter the Starbucks line only through the right-hand door of the library
  • The service line direction inside Starbucks has been updated - follow the floor markings
• All Online Resources Remain Available through library.ship.edu
  • General Help and FAQs
  • Request Interlibrary Loan or Ship Library Item 
  • Library Databases | Instant Answers | Ask Us Anything
  • Ship Discovery Search (limit by Source Type for ebooks, videos, etc.)
