The Shippensburg University Archives has installed an exhibit on the Lehman Library's main floor to celebrate a few of our institution's pioneer women and some of their many contributions to Shippensburg University. Just in time for Women’s History Month, the gallery display highlights President Laurie Carter, Shippensburg University’s first black and woman president. Thanks to President Carter and our other strong and determined pioneering women, Shippensburg is a more inclusive campus.  The SU Archive’s exhibit will be available to view through the month of March. The exhibit features several key articles, documents, and photographs relating to some of the pioneers in our history as a college. Please consider stopping by the Lehman Library to reflect on the importance of our pioneering women and be inspired to continue advocating for equitable opportunities on campus.
