September 17 is designated as Constitution Day and Citizenship Day to commemorate the signing of the U.S. Constitution in Philadelphia on September 17, 1787. Learn more about the U.S. Constitution through the National Archives.

Constitution Day Celebration - Recitation of the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States

Check out the event on Friday, September 17, 2021 10-11am in Memorial Auditorium (location changed due to anticipated weather). Provost Ormond will be reciting the Preamble to the Constitution with children attending Grades 4-5 of the Grace B. Luhrs University Elementary School.

If you'd like to prepare, feel free to practice the Preamble along with Schoolhouse Rock:
