WHERE: Dixon Center in Harrisburg, March 19-20, 2015, Pre-Conference March 18
Libraries are constantly being called on to engage more deeply and broadly with the university’s mission, while still seeking to provide services more efficiently. What are some of the innovative steps which your library is taking to redefine your library mission and rethink key aspects of our profession? How are you using library assessment data to drive service changes and to address vital issues such as retention? What effects are these changes having on the redesign of library spaces (i.e. makerspaces or info commons approaches)? What kinds of innovative teaching are you doing to better serve the whole spectrum of your university? How are learning-centric mission changes effecting technical services operations? What new skillsets are needed and being developed to meet the need for our transformed library services? Join us as we explore these and other key issues in this year's annual conference.
The SSHELCO Annual Conference will be Thursday and Friday March 19 and 20, 2015 with a combined meeting of SSHELCO and KLN on March 18 to discuss the findings of the open source library system committee.
