Health Literature

Health information can be found in the literature of several fields of study. This can make researching Health a little tricky. A few observations of the Health literature to keep in mind:

  • Research in Health is published in journal articles and trade magazines
  • Examples of good practice in health and physical education are published in journal articles and ERIC documents
  • Theory and historical information can be found in books
  • Books provide a more thorough treatment of a subject
  • Browse the Library's reference stacks and general book collection under call numbers beginning with GV (recreation & leisure), RA (public health), and TX (nutrition)
  • Find Articles through the sources listed on the Articles tab
