"Speaking Out: Queer Youth in Focus" an ongoing photographic essay by Rachelle Lee Smith
Rachelle Lee Smith is a Philadelphia-based photographer whose work has been exhibited nationally and internationally from Pennsylvania to California, New York to Florida as well as in Canada, Poland, and the Czech Republic.
"Speaking Out" has been displayed at educational institutions including The City University of New York, Santa Clara University, Syracuse University, University of Florida, University of Maryland, and the US Department of Education. It has also been featured by prominent LGBTQ advocacy organizations (e.g. Equity Forum, Human Rights Campign, San Francisco"s LGBT Center.
