National Career Development Month
"The mission of the Shippensburg University Career Development Center is to assist students and alumni in developing, evaluating and effectively implementing their career and professional plans through program initiatives; faculty, employer and alumni collaborations; and outreach on and off the University campus to employers, alumni and graduate/professional schools."
One of the ways the Shippensburg Univeristy Career Development Center fulfills its mission is by participating in National Career Development Month each November. Throughout the month, we promote career development programs and encourage students to take advantage of what all we have to offer. One of our programs is to create a library exhibit to be featured during the month of November.
Two Career Development Center student staff members -- Lauren Madison (Graduate Assistant) and Hannah Alexander (Senior) -- created this exhibit to raise campus awareness of the services that are provided by the Center for our students and alumni.
For more information on available services available at the Career Development Center in the CUB (Room 200) or phone them at extension 1484.
