Guide to Anti-Racist Books

Guide to Anti-Racist Books

This guide is a collaboration between Dr. Kirk Moll, Associate Professor and Reference and Research Librarian at Shippensburg University, library colleagues and members of Moving Circles and Not in Our Town, anti-racism groups based in Carlisle, PA. This is by no means a comprehensive bibliography, but intends to provide the interested reader with suggestions for helpful books to read in the many aspects and dimensions of anti-racism work. Books that have been particularly important and influential to members of Moving Circles and Not in Our Town have been labeled as "Essential Reads" and appear on the Essential Reads page of this guide as well.

This is a work-in-progress. We will continue to fill-out sections as well as add additional sections and links to various other types of resources, including videos, motion pictures, interviews, and others.
