The library is currently featuring a display of books collected and generously donated by Shippensburg Alumni Linda and Ed Rosenberry. These antique publications include books, newspapers, manuscripts letters and other printed ephemera from south central PA prior to 1860. These artistic and historically relevant artifacts provide a window into the culture and context of Shippensburg and the surrounding areas, as well as the technological advances in printing, particularly in making colored imprints, that were emerging in the region.
There will be a reception in honor of the Rosenberrys on the main floor of the library from 4-6pm tonight, October 20th. All are welcome!
Come see the work of our archives in action this Archives month! The exhibit will remain on display throughout October in the upstairs gallery.
