Lehman Library recently launched a search tool called "Ebsco Discovery Service" (EDS) which enables library users to search the majority of the library's print and electronic resources in one place. Now, we'd like students to help us give this search interface a personality. We are looking for more than simply a logo, we want to tap into the creativity of Shippensburg University students to bring EDS to life.
So, we are asking YOU to design an image to represent the EDS search. Animal, vegetable, mineral or anything in between, let your imagination loose!
Submit a .jpg or .png image file to ask@ship.libanswers.com by Monday, April 6, 2015. Be sure to include your name and email address with your submission.
A group of Lehman Library faculty, staff and administrators will evaluate the entries and choose three finalists based on the following criteria:
*Entries deemed to be inappropriate by the Library taskforce will not be considered.
By April 10, 2015, the Library will announce the three finalists and students will have the opportunity to vote during the week of April 13-17 to decide the winner.
The winning entry will be unveiled at an event in the library on April 20th and the winner will receive a gift card to Starbucks.
