Many students tend to think of essay writing as something that takes place all at once. They might write an entire paper from start to finish in one evening, then turn it in and never look at it again. It is important to remember, however, that strong writing usually does not occur this way. Writing is, in reality, a lengthy process that involves many steps and much preparation. In this section, you will find resources to help you understand the writing process in general.
