    The Economic Census profiles the US economy every 5 years, from the national to the local level. Data reports for states, metropolitan areas, counties, and cities are published state by state and sector by sector. Look for your industry to get national and local statistics, like business counts and sales.

    Get online counseling at SCORE.org. SCORE “Counselors to America’s Small Business” is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small businesses nationwide. The SCORE Web site has hundreds of pages of small business-related content and allows visitors to ask a business question of a SCORE online counselor 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
