Online Writing and Communication Consultations are now available for ALL graduate students and off-campus Ship students taking classes at DUC.

What is an Online Writing or Communication Consultation?

An online writing or communication consultation is similar to a face-to-face consultation, except that you'll communicate with your writing or communication consultant through video/audio chatting on Skype.  Your writing or communication consultant will review your essays and/or other writing or communication assignments prior to your meeting and be prepared to give you feedback that will help you to strengthen your assignment. 

This is not a proofreading service.  Although consultations are, at this time, set-up through e-mail communication, you will "meet" with your consultant via Skype, not just via e-mail. This gives you the opportunity to ask specific questions and seek clarification about your assignments and receive immediate, thorough answers just as you would during a face-to-face consultation.
