    Tutoring overview

The Learning Center provides free content, group and writing support tutoring for all students enrolled at Shippensburg University. Our tutors are dedicated to helping students develop independent learning strategies. Tutors assist in content support in most general education courses including math, English, sciences, social sciences, modern languages, and a number of other subjects.

    Who are the tutors?

Tutors at the Learning Center include both undergraduate and graduate students who maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Our tutors work toward College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) certification and are highly trained and capable of helping students achieve their learning goals.
